Friends of the Towson Library Book Sale Is Back!

Great books at great prices! The Friends of the Towson Library’s annual book sale is back. The event is scheduled for Wednesday, April 15, through Saturday, April 18, and will be held on the first floor of the building, located at 320 York Road. There will be books of all genres and for all ages, including a large selection of children’s books. Prices range from $1 to $5 Wednesday through Friday with a $5-per-foot sale on Saturday. Friends of the Towson Library say the fundraiser is some of their favorite days of the year and cannot wait to see what books people grab this year.  

Dates and Times: 

Wednesday, April 15, noon to 7 p.m.
Thursday, April 16, noon to 7 p.m.
Friday, April 17, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
*Saturday, April 18, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.  

*Bulk pricing available; $5 a foot 

Where the Money Goes 

The Friends of the Towson Library Book Sale hit another new record in 2025, raising more than $25,000. Those funds helped with several branch upgrades, including new furniture in the children and tween areas, revamping the castle and paint throughout.
