Adult Reading Challenge Returns to the Library

Ready, set, read! Be Well-Read Bingo, an adult reading challenge, is returning! It runs Tuesday, September 3, through Monday, October 28, and those who complete the challenge receive a B Enlightened tote bag.

Register and Play

There are two ways to play.

Play Online With Beanstack

This interactive game board tracks your activity to earn badges. Once you join, you can click on the bingo card and select any square to see that square's challenge. Examples include reading something mysterious, reading something romantic, reading something from a celebrity book club or recommending a book to a friend. After completing the square’s challenge, you earn the badge for that square.

Complete a Paper Game Board

Be Well-Read Bingo game boards are available at branches beginning Thursday, September 5 or download the game board  (PDF).

Reading Suggestions

If you need help finding books to fit the categories, some of the bingo squares have suggested titles to get you started, whether you are looking for something fantastical or a prize winner, or you can ask staff at the service desk for suggestions.

Completion Prizes

Complete the challenge by completing any row across, down or diagonally. If you play on Beanstack, you achieve a bingo badge. Visit any branch by Monday, October 28, to pick up your B Enlightened tote. If you played on a paper game board, bring your completed game board with you.
