Friends of Towson Library Book Sale Returns
After a three-year hiatus due to the pandemic, Friends of Towson Library is bringing back its annual book sale!
In its 26th year, there will be books of all genres and for all ages, including a large selection of children’s books. Friends of Towson Library say they’re looking forward to seeing their favorite customers again, as well as new faces from across Baltimore County.
Dates, Times and Pricing Info
The event is scheduled for Wednesday, April 12, through Saturday, April 15, and will be held on the first floor of the building located at 320 York Road. Prices range from $1 to $5 Wednesday through Friday, with a $5-per-foot sale on Saturday.
- Wednesday, April 12, noon to 7 p.m.
- Thursday, April 13, noon to 7 p.m.
- Friday, April 14, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Saturday, April 15, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.—Bulk pricing available; $5 a foot.
Where the Money Goes
This event helps raise money to support branch needs, including but not limited to:
- Children’s castle
- In-branch programs
- LEGOs
- Plants to brighten the environment
- Window shades
In the three years predating the pandemic, the Friends of Towson Library raised $20,000 annually. Photos from the 2019 book sale were provided by Friends of Towson Library.
