Adult Reading Challenge Returns to the Library

Ready, set, read! As a part of our 75th Anniversary Celebration, we are bringing back an Adult Reading Challenge. It runs Tuesday, September 5 through Saturday, October 28, and those who complete the challenge receive a commemorative prize.

Register and Play

There are two ways to play.

Play Online With Beanstack

This interactive game board tracks your activity to earn badges. Once you join, you can click on the bingo card and select any square to see that square's challenge. Examples include reading something mysterious, re-reading a childhood favorite, following our social media accounts or downloading the B Mobile app. After completing the square’s challenge, you earn the badge for that square.

Complete a Paper Game Board

Summer Reading Challenge game boards are available at branches beginning September 5 or download a game board in English (PDF).

Reading Suggestions

If you need help finding books to fit the categories, we have created a booklist (PDF) of novels throughout the last 75 years that you can place holds on, or you can ask staff at the service desk for suggestions.

Completion Prizes

Complete the challenge by completing any row across, down or diagonally. If you play on Beanstack, you achieve a bingo badge. Visit any branch by Saturday, October 28 to pick up your commemorative 75th anniversary tote. If you played on a paper game board, bring your completed game board with you.
