Search this vast database of recorded music by artist, song, album, style or label.

Baltimore Bands
This site gives a huge list of local Baltimore bands. There's a hitch, though. They don't let you pick a type of music so you'll find Big Band and Swing groups mixed in with Rap and Techno. There's also a "musicians wanted" section and a "musicians live" section where you can get a list of who's playing where when.

Google's Web Directory of Music
Categories include current hits, rock & pop, hymns, international and the 60's.
The Grammy Awards
Current and past winners, audio and video interviews, music downloads, and tips on a career in the music business.
Local Band Network
Find local bands by type of music. Even if you're on the page for the Baltimore area you'll still get a list of bands from all over the country. The weekly schedule section gives performance dates and times for some local venues.
MTV Buzzworthy
Get news and features. What's going on in music? Who are they taking about and what are they saying?

Internet Movie Database
This is a HUGE listing of movies made from 1891 through last week. Find your favorite stars and get a list of their other movies. TV series and TV guest roles are listed too.
Teen Television
Get info about TV news, fan clubs, games and quizzes. You can sign up for episode email and they'll send you reminders when your favorite shows are coming on and will send you a plot synopsis in case you miss it.

Here are some selected games sites. We tried to pick ones that don't have so many annoying pop-up windows. You'll still get some of those from these sites but not as many as you'll get elsewhere.

Coffee Break Arcade
Go to Classic Games and tune up your typing skills with Typer Shark. Or pick Cool Games and let some kids have it in the face with snowballs in Snowcraft. Lots of others to choose, too.

DFILM
This site allows you to put together your own movies and email them to people. It's pretty cool!
Free Online Games
From Thinks.com - the crossword puzzle is great, it lets you check your answers and gives you help by letter or by word.
Game House
Some of the games here turn up on other sites too but it's worth a shot to go to the source.
Pop Cap Games
Like Game House, you can find some of the Pop Cap games on other sites. The site is worth a look, though.
