If you do become pregnant, you will need to talk to someone about your health care and the alternatives available. It is important that you see a physician as soon as possible to confirm your pregnancy, to find out your options so that you can make informed decisions, and to discuss prenatal care.

Offers free pregnancy tests, crisis pregnancy assistance and post-abortion counseling. Offers information about abortion and alternatives that allow a woman to continue her pregnancy with the support of others who care. Occasionally offers parenting and childbirth classes.

  • High Risk Infants and Children

    Makes home visits when an infant is born with high risk medical, social or environmental problems. Follow-up parenting counseling is provided where necessary. Follow-up parenting education, counseling, and case management are provided. Developmental evaluations are completed.

  • Well-Child Clinics

    Complete preventive services, including immunizations, physical exams, feeding advice and child-rearing and development guidance, are provided at County Health Centers. Tests for anemia, tuberculosis, lead poisoning and other conditions are offered at most County health centers. Acute illnesses are not treated.

Comprehensive counseling and referral services to adolescent parents or pregnant adolescent (under 21) to help with decisions in regard to a child; referrals made for medical care, parenting education; adoption counseling. A health insurance program for children up to age 18 and pregnant women. This program gives free and low cost health care to children and pregnant women with low to average incomes. A nonsectarian organization dedicated to preventing abortions by helping women, married or single, to continue their pregnancies in a normal, healthy manner through confidential counseling with a pro-life format. Assists pregnant women to give birth to their babies. Teaches parenting skills. Services include long and short-term counseling; referral for free pregnancy testing; distribution of maternity & infant clothes & baby furniture; financial assistance; housing with shepherding families or group homes; medical and general resource referrals. Does not refer clients for artificial contraceptives, sterilization or abortion.
