The Parkville Library is located on Harford Road, just outside the Beltway. The parking lot is located at the rear of the building. In order to better serve customers who may find the library's tri-level design physically challenging, there is a checkout desk located on the lower level which is easily accessible from the parking lot. The Parkville Easy Access desk is operational daily from 9 AM until 5 PM. Since June 2001, an elevator has been operational for the convenience of customers.

In April 2004, the relocated book drop opened on the east side of the building next to the library entrance.

From Towson via the Beltway (I-695): Take Exit 31 North (Harford Road). The library is located 1/2 mile north, on the right side of Harford Road.
