Benefits of Employment for Salaried Full-time Employees


The following benefits are available to full-time employees:

  • Vacation-20 days

  • Sick Leave-15 days (Which can be accumulated)

  • Personal Leave-7 days per fiscal year

  • Holidays-9.5 days per calendar year

  • Membership in the Maryland State Teachers' Pension System OR the Baltimore County Employees' Retirement system (Eligibility based upon employment position.) Both programs have a 10 year vesting period and require a 7% payroll deduction

  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides confidential and professional assessment and referral assistance for employees and eligible dependents in the household who are experiencing personal problems that may be affecting work performance, job satisfaction, or overall quality of life.
